Watch leading Melbourne Cup Carnival contenders complete their final paces around the famous Flemington Track.

Members and racing fans are once again invited to the much-anticipated annual VRC Trackwork Breakfast.

Join us at the break of dawn for a rare behind-the-scenes experience before the 2026 Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Located in the Terrace Restaurant and Hill Stand seating deck, you will have the perfect vantage point to study some of the best thoroughbreds in the world and gain insights from prominent Flemington trainers as they prepare for the most important week in the Australian racing calendar.

We are excited to hear from key Flemington racing personalities this year at the Trackwork Breakfast, where they will speak on key insights on racing at the track.

Complimentary tea or coffee, and an egg and bacon roll will be available to all guests on arrival.

VRC Trackwork Breakfast proudly supports the VRC’s 2026 Pin & Win charity partner, Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania. Guests can purchase a 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup lapel pin, including the new, exclusive and bejewelled Racehorse pin, alongside the iconic Lexus Melbourne Cup pin and lucky Horseshoe pin.

This year, the campaign aims to raise $1 million—enough to fund 4,000 nights of accommodation for families with sick children.

Every pin purchase also offers the chance to win a share of more than $177,700 in prizes, including a Lexus RX 450h+ valued at $116,700.
