With the Melbourne Cup Carnival approaching, three-year-olds vied for ballot exemption into the 2025 Group 1 Howden Victoria Derby (2500m), won by Autumn Mystery, and the Group 1 Crown Oaks (2500m), taken home by After Summer.
Flemington Open Day also returned, giving racegoers early access to the Flemington Stables, Living Legends, and exclusive insights from VRC spokespeople — a perfect behind-the-scenes lead-in to Cup Week.
