We kicked off 2025 in style!
With an outstanding eight-race card, it was summer racing at its finest. We witnessed the best off-season stayers battle it out for glory in the time-honoured Listed Bagot Handicap (2800m) and cheered on the contenders in the Listed Kensington Stakes (1400m).
Flemington hosted an epic pool party at the races. Our vibrant Front Lawn was transformed into the ultimate summer playground, Summer Social.
We wrapped up the day perfectly on the Front Lawn after the last race, with Australian DJ and producer Cyril taking the live stage to round out an unforgettable New Year’s Day.

Members Area in The Atrium
With the closure of The Club Stand, we have created a new dedicated Members Area within The Atrium in The Grandstand for members to enjoy on New Year’s Day Race Day. Access to this area will be via the Trackside entrance and will include exclusive access to the Trackside Bar and unreserved tables, chairs and grandstand seats.
Summer Social
Head to the Summer Social oasis on the Front Lawn where you can soak up the sun with refreshing cocktails and watch all the thrilling racing.
When you need a break from the action find some shade under an umbrella or sink into a comfy bean bag with a DJ spinning tunes all day long.
Keep cool in one of our inflatable pools, don’t forget your bathers!
Cyril Live DJ Set
Round out NYD on the Front Lawn after the last race with Australian DJ and producer Cyril taking the live stage, known for global worldwide hits such as "Stumblin' In" and his remix of the Grammy-nominated band Disturbed's "Sound of Silence".
