York Carnival delivers Lexus Melbourne Cup hopefuls

The York racing festival is a highlight of the UK racing season and once again it has provided a guide to the riches at Flemington this spring.

The VRC's UK correspondent Aly Vance was at York to cast an eye over the Cup contenders from the three big races on the York program, the Great Voltigeur, Ebor Handicap and the Lonsdale Cup.

VRC Executive General Manager of Racing Leigh Jordon also made the trek to entice some of the UK's finest to head to Melbourne for the Cup Carnival.
