Race Review

THEBELMONTGANGSTER (14) backs up from last week at Sandown Hillside having won very well there in a return to form. He'd put the writing on the wall two back with a strong effort and seems to be racing far more genuinely now. He maps perfectly on pace and provided the track stays rain affected he'll go close once more. TEN COMMANDMENTS (8) was dominant winning first up at Sandown Lakeside in midweek company, making a sustained run and bolting in by 4.5 lengths. That was his first run for the Maher yard and he'll take beating if he can go on with it. YAM (13) is flying this time in, trying hard in Adelaide last time when second. He gets in light after the claim and should run very well. CAPPER THIRTYNINE (9) brings all the right form through Lovelycut and should be right there off a let up. ROSA AOTEAROA (17) is a little niggle at the trip but should find the track a bit better than the heavy surface last time which he struggled on.
