Race Review

Most of the key chances here come through a similar race over this route which was won by Saint George. SMOKIN' ROMANS (1) was no match for the winner late but beat the rest home and did it up on speed with the other horses in the finish all swooping late. He'll sit on pace again and prove very hard to run down. GLORY DAZE (2) finished sixth here last time after covering a bit of ground. He'll be up on speed this time and looks a strong hope. STAR OF INDIA (4) charged home to grab third in the same race. He doesn't want it too wet but his main issue is his racing pattern and how big a start he'll give his dangers. He's certainly good enough. BRAYDEN STAR (3) was off a short spell in that race and wasn't far away, he should be fitter and is in the mix. CHIEF LITTLE ROCK (8) just bottomed out late there. He probably needs a bit more time but could improve.
