CAP D'ANTIBES STAKES
Great race for the fillies. The market hasn't exactly missed OVER EXCITED (14), a well-bred filly who ripped home in fast time on debut at Geelong, the sectionals there suggesting she was right up to stakes grade. She'll have to improve but profiles to do so and should be sweeping down the outside again. G1 Blue Diamond winner STREISAND (1) resumes. She hardly put a foot wrong in her 2yo season, very brave behind Guest House in the G1 Golden Slipper before an even effort in the Sires. Has the full penalty and bigger targets in the Spring but can win. SCINTILLATION (7) was game chasing Natural Fling last time who ran well in the G1 Moir against the older horses. She gets a nice run here and looks a big price. SATONO GLOW (2) resumes. She won very well here in the Autumn and looks a filly with some substance who will be charging home. I AM ARIA (10) boasts a 3rd to Streisand and did what she needed to do when winning the maiden fresh.

Finished off last preparation seventh of 13 at Randwick in the G1 Sires Prod April 4 over 1400m, soft track; 7 len behind Campione D'italia with 54.5kg at $3.30. When resuming last campaign fifth of 9 at Caulfield in the G3 Bd/Prev F January 24 over 1000m, 2.25 len behind Rubi's Choice with 56kg at $5. G1 winner, she'll have bigger targets but is still very well placed here.
Resuming. Finished off last campaign fourth of 9 at Randwick in the G2 Percysykes April 11 over 1200m, 1.75 len behind Cherry Bomshell with 57kg at $5. At her first start won by 0.5 len Warwick Farm 2yo F Mdn March 11 over 1000m slow track defeating Aryaam carrying 58kg at $5. Has plenty of ability and proven here, wary.

Finished off last preparation by 1.5 len Morphettville G3 Breeders Stks April 25 over 1200m defeating Wonderful Sky with 55.5kg at $4.40. When resuming last campaign second of 10 at Morphettville in the LR Deq Stks March 28 over 1050m, 1.0 len behind Never Ordinary carrying 56kg at $8. Talented, wouldn't be discounting.
Having second run back today. Last start 3rd of 9 in a 3yo Hcp at Sandown-Hillside on August 22 over 1000m, on rain affected going; 0.5 len behind Buggsy with 53kg at $11. At only start last preparation 9th of 16 in the LR Inglis Millennium at Randwick on February 7 over 1100m, 4 len behind Fireball carrying 54.5kg at $5. Solid return but other form stronger.
Racing first-up today. Finished off last preparation winning won by neck Caulfield LR Redoute's April 11 over 1200m defeating Oak Lightning with 56.5kg at $2.90. On debut third of 9 at Pakenham 2yo Mdn-Sw January 9 over 1000m, a head behind Brazen Dechambeau with 56kg at $3.80. Nice filly, she'll need to have made the step up though.
Second run back. First-up after three months 11th of 13 in a LR The Rosebud at Rosehill on August 15 over 1100m, slow going 6 len behind Chilly Girl carrying 54kg at $101. Previously second-up came from midfield and won by 1.3 len in the LR Woodlands Stakes at Scone on May 16 over 1100m defeating Found The Gold with 55kg at $151. Likely to find this out of reach.
Third-up today. Resuming raced right near the speed and boxed on; won by 0.8 len in a 2yo Hcp at Randwick on July 25 over 1100m on a rain affected track defeating Suasion carrying 56.5kg at $7.50. Last start 2nd of 16 in the G3 Quezette Stakes at Caulfield on August 15 over 1100m, slow going 4 len behind Natural Fling carrying 56kg at $16. Chased a good one latest and looks a big chance here.

First-up after six months favourite; tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by 1.5 len in a 3yo F Mdn-Sw at Bendigo on August 12 over 1000m on a heavy track defeating Novamira carrying 57kg at $1.65. Previously second-up 3rd of 11 in the G2 Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) at Caulfield on February 7 over 1100m, 1.1 len behind Streisand carrying 56kg at $7.50. Proven to a good level as a 2yo and can measure up here.
Most recently won by 1.75 len in a Mdn-Sw at Pakenham Synthetic on August 24 over 1200m defeating Rock About carrying 55kg at $3.30. The run before that came from midfield; 2nd of 12 in a Mdn-Sw at Pakenham Synthetic on August 10 over 1000m, 0.8 len behind Watten Assett carrying 55kg at $5.50. This will test.
Second-up. First-up after two months 6th of 16 in the G3 Quezette Stakes at Caulfield on August 15 over 1100m, on a slow track; 7 len behind Natural Fling carrying 56kg at $51. Previously second-up 5th of 10 in a 2yo Hcp at Randwick on April 25 over 1100m, 3.5 len behind Bangkok Hottie carrying 55.5kg at $19. Would have to improve.

On debut second last of 8 at this track in the G3 Ottawa March 7 over 1000m, 3.5 len behind Medicinal with 56kg at $61. Not keen on her chances this time.
Was well-supported at debut, won favourite; won by 1.75 len in a 3yo F Mdn-Sw at Geelong on August 28 over 1147m on a soft track defeating Icelady carrying 57kg at $3.30. Big win on debut and looks capable of measuring up.
